Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Cannavacciuolo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Dino Saurø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. Dino Saurø kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cesate's Adriano Di Marco tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Ranieri to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Adriano Di Marco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Galfrè showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Adriano Di Marco came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cesate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Di Marco couldn't finish the play. Frank Galfrè took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Caruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Galfrè came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cesate's Eraldo Di Matteo. But to his dismay, Eraldo Di Matteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Alvaro Cannavacciuolo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. Alvaro Cannavacciuolo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Valdieri's Frank Galfrè played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Caruso in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Eraldo Di Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Frank Galfrè was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alfredo Caruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Ennio Grasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Galfrè. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Galfrè should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The wind increased when Ennio Grasso made the kick off in the second half. Ennio Grasso took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Galfrè. Frank Galfrè dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With an all-out effort, Cesate's Frank Galfrè threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ennio Grasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frank Galfrè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Grasso in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Alvaro Cannavacciuolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdieri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Cannavacciuolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Galfrè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Grasso in the 68th minute of play. Bruno Carciofo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Cannavacciuolo in the 70th minute of the match. Dino Saurø was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dino Saurø hit a great ball. Eraldo Di Matteo had several of the Valdieri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Frank Galfrè as he didn't even see the shot coming. 84 minutes into the game, Eraldo Di Matteo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Galfrè. Eraldo Di Matteo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 87th minute, Frank Magliocco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Galfrè made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Antonio Talone sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Di Matteo in the 92nd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Frank Galfrè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, Alessandro Mascitti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the Cesate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cesate booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Mascitti didn't get a good kick on the ball.
