Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Alfredo Campo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Alfredo Campo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederick Scicluna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ferruccio Corvasce charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Corvasce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Ferruccio Corvasce got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Amadeo Darmanin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9thth minute of the game Leonard Calleja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Claudio Allegretti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Tarquini. After 11 played minutes, Meerkats FC's Robert Portanier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Allegretti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meerkats FC reached it. The supporters of Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC booed when Meerkats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Rapinett didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Leonard Calleja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meerkats FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Frederick Scicluna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Campo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Bugelli. Claudio Allegretti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Calleja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Fausto Galliani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC and the Meerkats FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes in the game, Leonard Calleja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Claudio Allegretti having to interfere. If Kevin Musu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Calleja to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Leonard Calleja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Allegretti came out of the goal and Leonard Calleja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Calleja in the 57th minute of play forced Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Allegretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Musu's late challenge caught a Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Musu helped the player get up and apologised. Kevin Musu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Fausto Galliani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Frederick Scicluna made a huge save. Kevin Musu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Allegretti having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Davide Cardano made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Scicluna. Meerkats FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Fausto Galliani got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC defense, Kevin Musu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Allegretti. The Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Allegretti should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Leonard Calleja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Allegretti came out of the goal and Leonard Calleja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Arrigo Tarquini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC and the Meerkats FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Claudio Allegretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Calleja in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Davide Cardano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Cardano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederick Scicluna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonard Calleja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Allegretti having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Martin Rapinett got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Richard Rapinett got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
