Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonard Calleja kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Amadeo Darmanin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton De Battista. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Amadeo Darmanin hit a great ball. When Valdieri's Attilio Fortunato in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meerkats FC's goalie prevented a goal. Meerkats FC's Frederick Scicluna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Meerkats FC from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Meerkats FC's Zach Testaferrata Viani. But to his dismay, Zach Testaferrata Viani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, Leonard Calleja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes of play, Meerkats FC's Leonard Calleja made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kevin Musu scored 0-5 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Musu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Kevin Musu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meerkats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Musu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Valdieri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meerkats FC were winning 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Fortunato made a kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Robert Portanier commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Meerkats FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Valdieri. Elia Mascitti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frederick Scicluna. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Calleja got free with Aurelio Di Lullo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Meerkats FC booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Ranieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Meerkats FC's Amadeo Darmanin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. In the 70th minute, Meerkats FC's Leonard Calleja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Darmanin in the 73rd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Amadeo Darmanin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Darmanin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. 87 minutes into the match, Zach Gerada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo, 1-10. Amadeo Darmanin took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-12. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Valdieri from getting a goal against them.
