The audience was convinced that Karim Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holer Nolle was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, one of ZG Hakleri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZG Hakleri. ZG Hakleri:s Holer Nolle showed great skill when he stopped Adil Magaud:s penalty. Leo Krivačić charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Krivačić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the game, one of ZG Hakleri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Holer Nolle had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Adil Magaud's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With his leg Sofyane Valognes managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when ZG Hakleri's Damjan Brozović fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Holer Nolle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 25 minutes of play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Karim Cosme made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holer Nolle was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Damjan Brozović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ZG Hakleri booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri Gayraud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miran Komadina made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Niko Stipančić immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Cosme during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Karim Cosme hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Éloi Le Calvez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZG Hakleri the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Georges Labarthe replaced Paul-Henri Gayraud. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Jasmin Bremec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZG Hakleri and the Rathmore Lime Tree players grew even worse after the yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of ZG Hakleri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Holer Nolle had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Adil Magaud's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Holer Nolle came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud. But to his dismay, Adil Magaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, ZG Hakleri's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Cosme came free, but Holer Nolle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rathmore Lime Tree's Fernand Rouland was substituted for Karim Cosme. In the 60th minute, Karim Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Boullet to maneuver through the defense. Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after ZG Hakleri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Belloir took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jim Belloir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holer Nolle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jasmin Bremec was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of ZG Hakleri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rathmore Lime Tree:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in ZG Hakleri's zone, Fernand Rouland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holer Nolle came out of the goal and Fernand Rouland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, ZG Hakleri's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Rouland came free, but Holer Nolle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bilal Hédin in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ZG Hakleri's Gradimir Radeta. ZG Hakleri's Holer Nolle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand Rouland in the 89th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Damjan Brozović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZG Hakleri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathmore Lime Tree the free kick. In the 96th minute, Damjan Brozović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adil Magaud struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Holer Nolle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree.
