Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Catena in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Franco Catena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Nelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Sofyane Valognes made a huge save. Sofyane Valognes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Nelli's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when FC Aquile Azzurre's Frank Nelli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 minutes, Jim Belloir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathmore Lime Tree and the FC Aquile Azzurre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Belloir to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Fernand Rouland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Nelli in the 17th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Frank Nelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sofyane Valognes made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Franco Catena sent off a good shot on target. Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Albert Frouin replaced Fernand Rouland. In the 29th minute, Alaa Felice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hervé Annette kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alaa Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Aquile Azzurre's Franco Catena got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Karim Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Éloi Le Calvez's late challenge caught a FC Aquile Azzurre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Éloi Le Calvez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Éloi Le Calvez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bilal Hédin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Frank Nelli came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Aquile Azzurre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Nelli couldn't finish the play. Frank Nelli came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sofyane Valognes could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Catena to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Nelli in the 52nd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Nelli went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Catena, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Alaa Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sofyane Valognes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Karim Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Peruzzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Alaa Felice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Franco Catena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aquile Azzurre and the Rathmore Lime Tree players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaa Felice in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Alaa Felice made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofyane Valognes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Alaa Felice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Aquile Azzurre fully deserved thier win.
