Žydrūnas Danielius was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Alex Limitone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Limitone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 9th play minute Fabrizio Greco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Žydrūnas Danielius. 2-0. A collision led to FC Saubrigues getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Faudel Langlois hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saubrigues's zone, Fabrizio Greco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Žydrūnas Danielius came out of the goal and Fabrizio Greco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Žydrūnas Danielius made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alex Limitone sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Guignard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Aldo Del Grosso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bar Marconi United and the FC Saubrigues players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aldo Del Grosso hit a great ball. Adrien Cariou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Uguccioni having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Žydrūnas Danielius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Limitone. If Alex Limitone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Žydrūnas Danielius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Limitone in the 35th minute of the match. Žydrūnas Danielius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Limitone, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fabrizio Greco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žydrūnas Danielius having to interfere. Morgan Guignard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Concetto Uguccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Limitone made a kick off. Fabrizio Greco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Žydrūnas Danielius having to make a save. 63 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Greco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Žydrūnas Danielius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jules Cointe charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jules Cointe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrizio Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alex Limitone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žydrūnas Danielius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Greco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Constantino Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saubrigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto Uguccioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alex Limitone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bar Marconi United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
