Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Markos Renieris took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simos Zacharenios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Moschogiannis having to interfere. Menios Moschogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Vrazilianos in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Giasemakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Antonis Vrazilianos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Stamatis Giotas scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corrado Bosco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's Nontas Livaditis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Bosco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simos Zacharenios during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Simos Zacharenios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. After 46 minutes, Andreas Daskalakis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Saronida FC's Corrado Bosco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andreas Daskalakis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Daskalakis in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corrado Bosco saved Saronida FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Giotas in the 57th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Corrado Bosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Bosco came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Stamatis Giotas. But to his dismay, Stamatis Giotas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 60th minute, Stamatis Giotas made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Bosco. Saronida FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Fondas Papagiannoulis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Menios Moschogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markos Renieris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minas Rodanakis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Corrado Bosco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fondas Papagiannoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Saronida FC's Corrado Bosco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Giotas in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Daskalakis in the 79th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Corrado Bosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saronida FC's Corrado Bosco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Giotas in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Andreas Daskalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Bosco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Papagiannoulis in the 84th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Corrado Bosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Andreas Daskalakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Bosco came out of the goal and Andreas Daskalakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corrado Bosco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Daskalakis went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Psaridis in the 94th minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Menios Moschogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Giotas in the 96th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Corrado Bosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Ajax were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saronida FC for a fine match.
