An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Di Martino in the 4th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Lawrence De Marco came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Felice Di Biagio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick. In the 7th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Di Biagio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Bonello in the 8th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 10th minute of the match. Amadeo Rapinett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damiano Strazzabosco in the 11th minute. Attilio Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence De Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Mims booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Zrinzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 23rd minute of the match. Attilio Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Axisa in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Zrinzo came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Thomas Zrinzo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi. Attilio Fiordelisi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeo Rapinett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Amadeo Rapinett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Mims players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Attard Gunners were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Damiano Strazzabosco made the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Martino in the 51st minute of play. Damiano Strazzabosco charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 58th minute Fabrizio Di Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rapinett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attilio Fiordelisi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Thomas Zrinzo sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Rapinett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mims from getting a goal against them. Elia Panella hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jeremy Bonello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Attilio Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Thomas Zrinzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fabio Vassallo hit a great ball. Attilio Fiordelisi came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Attard Gunners's Thomas Zrinzo. But to his dismay, Thomas Zrinzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Fabrizio Di Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Attard Gunners had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
