The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Xuereb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Vassallo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Amadeo Rapinett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Grzelak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Edmondo Pittelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Martorella in the 25th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
