The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Lama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Valencia C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Roncourt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
