Jehad Sungkono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmine Righi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Seggiano booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Pietropaolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Domenico Galli sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Dossena in the 16th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Jehad Sungkono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Tana hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of Seggiano booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Kocsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Carmine Righi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Donnarumma. A.S. Udinese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmine Righi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Ferenc Kocsis in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Seggiano's Carmine Caligaris. Gigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Righi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Donnarumma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Righi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Arrigo Saturno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Donnarumma. A.S. Udinese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arrigo Saturno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 47 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Trivelli. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ercole Trivelli hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Emilio Dossena made the kick off in the second half. Filippo Di Leonardo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Righi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Emilio Dossena made a precise shot to the right of Jehad Sungkono. Seggiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A.S. Udinese's Ernesto Delle Donne was substituted for Emilio Dossena. In the 68th minute Arrigo Saturno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Delle Donne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Carmine Caligaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jehad Sungkono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Motta in the 84th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, A.S. Udinese's Jehad Sungkono threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Delle Donne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Seggiano's Carmine Righi. But to his dismay, Carmine Righi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz de Godoi during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Jehad Sungkono, was totally fooled by A.S. Udinese's Carmine Vani, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Seggiano had played much better football throughout.
