The wind increased when João Lucena made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, João Lucena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delfim Brás. MEXACOMX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Lucena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Hélio Granja hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Padilha in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Brás saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. Duarte Padilha kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Guerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dewa Cinta. That made the score 2-5 in the 86 minute of play. Delfim Brás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Lucena's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Catarino Vilela managed to get in a good position for a shot. MEXACOMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Vilela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dewa Cinta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FCPorto's Dewa Cinta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Vilela in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over MEXACOMX could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCPorto throughout the match.
