Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torcato Paião started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Alcides Lobo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Silveira. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Alcides Lobo in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armindo Silveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Atlético Micaelense's Alexandre Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Salgueiro in the 15th minute of play. Alcides Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Armindo Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Domingos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torcato Paião in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Octávio Saraiva hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Viriato lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Alcides Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torcato Paião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, Atlético Micaelense's Alcides Lobo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Armindo Silveira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Torcato Paião sent off a good shot on target. Armindo Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torcato Paião's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Flávio Anjos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Torcato Paião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Candeias to make the kick off. Torcato Paião took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Silveira. Armindo Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Armindo Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcides Lobo scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Atlético Micaelense's Alcides Lobo in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Armindo Silveira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Armindo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Paião in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Hermano Amaro came free, but Armindo Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Atlético Micaelense's Torcato Paião made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armindo Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torcato Paião in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Atlético Micaelense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Micaelense had played much better football throughout.
