After 6 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Marino Babia. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Norberto Frois hit a great ball. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Alejandro Nobo got control of the ball when Jorge Candeias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Cerreri kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Justo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tekin Onay in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, one of Academia Monte Gordo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Tekin Onay made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Pedro Salgueiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Nobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Goyo Iniesta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Silveira came out of the goal and Goyo Iniesta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Carmelo Arias got a free kick in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Academia Monte Gordo's Armindo Silveira got control of the ball when Goyo Iniesta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Academia Monte Gordo's Armindo Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. After 70 played minutes Academia Monte Gordo got a freekick which was hit by Octávio Saraiva. Abelardo Justo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Armindo Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asturcones d´la Abadía. After 78 played minutes Academia Monte Gordo got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Candeias. Txomin Gala hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jorge Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alejandro Nobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abelardo Justo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Domingos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Asturcones d´la Abadía! The referee gave Academia Monte Gordo a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sabino Domingos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Asturcones d´la Abadía's Alejandro Nobo. 1-1. After 94 minutes of play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Tekin Onay made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Candeias kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
