The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelayo Montero should have stopped the shot. VALPICA C.F.'s Curcio Morales got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Curcio Morales off the ground. 25 minutes into the game, one of VALPICA C.F.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for SC Angrense. Caetano Curado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pelayo Montero. 0-4. Pelayo Montero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Pereira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Cavaco to strike the kick off in the second half. Pelayo Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pereira in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match SC Angrense got a corner. VALPICA C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Caetano Curado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to SC Angrense's Mateus Vilela getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pelayo Montero had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Emanuel Pereira from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Pelayo Montero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Curado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Pelayo Montero came out of the goal and Mateus Vilela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Angrense played a much better game than VALPICA C.F. and deserved their victory. The VALPICA C.F. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
