Júlio Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andrei Lupu sped through Red Proud FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Pais. 10 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's Facundo Lastras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Pais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Andrei Lupu sped through Red Proud FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Pais. Júlio Pais came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Nàstic de Tarragona's Andrei Lupu. But to his dismay, Andrei Lupu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 22 minutes into the match, Andrei Lupu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Pais. Red Proud FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Lupu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Sabrosa in the 25th minute of play forced Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper Saturnino Ladra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Ademar Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Proud FC and the Nàstic de Tarragona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Ademar Ferreira got a free kick in the 28th minute. Paulo Pires hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Andrei Lupu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 38th minute, Andrei Lupu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Pais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Red Proud FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ademar Ferreira hit a great ball. If Andrei Lupu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Óscar Sabrosa to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Lupu got free with Júlio Pais in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 minutes Red Proud FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javi Bonilla who took care of the corner kick. Andrei Lupu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrei Lupu ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrei Lupu. In the 59th match minute, Nàstic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javi Bonilla to maneuver through the defense. Red Proud FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Andrei Lupu scored to the left of an out of position Júlio Pais, making the score, 0-9. Andrei Lupu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Pais having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Lupu got free with Júlio Pais in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Falcão during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nàstic de Tarragona booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Lázaro Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Lupu in the 78th minute of the match. Juvenal Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red Proud FC defense, Javi Bonilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Pais. The Red Proud FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Pais should have stopped the shot. The Red Proud FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nàstic de Tarragona's performance. The match ended with a win for Nàstic de Tarragona.
