Toni Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madeo Ramos in the 3rd minute of the match. Belisario Llorente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinito Cifuentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriol Azofra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's Vergaray Echeto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quinito Cifuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Cuatrodeocho were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arxel Pareja made the kick off in the second half. Girona FC's Toni Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Girona FC from getting a goal against them. Allande Fuente struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Toni Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuatrodeocho. After 78 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's Madeo Ramos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
