Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Telmo Miguéis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alexandre Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Peseiro having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Tarcísio Palha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarcísio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Lameirinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Albano Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Leizarraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Garanhão do SUL got a corner. Delta FS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarcísio Palha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Garanhão do SUL's Alexandre Vale to fire away a dangerous shot which Tarcísio Leite despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tarcísio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Roriz in the 26th minute of play. Nicolas Raposo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 31st minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Tarcísio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Humberto Bettencourt hit a great ball. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Malta. In the 41st minute of the match Tarcísio Palha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarcísio Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. André Roriz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 53 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Cruz. In the 54th minute of the match Vasco Ribas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heitor Peseiro skillfully saved the ball. Tarcísio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Gama in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Garanhão do SUL were awarded a corner. Tarcísio Palha went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tarcísio Palha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Delta FS's Tarcísio Leite did a great save. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's António Gama got a free kick in the 64th minute. Garanhão do SUL's Benigno Jesco was substituted for Alexandre Vale. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Garanhão do SUL's Tarcísio Palha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tarcísio Leite in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adolfo Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Delta FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute António Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcísio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tarcísio Leite. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Israel Coutinho hit a great ball. The Garanhão do SUL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
