In the 4th minute, Claus Tormes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Angelo Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Saldanha in the 11th minute of play. Delta FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Ribas in the 12th minute. Archibaldo Ponce struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Alípio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.. Alípio Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Candamil in the 20th minute of the match. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Angelo Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Savoie. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Reginaldo Ornelas hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Gomesano Santalla. Putu Molek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Angelo Guerra made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Candamil in the 45th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Alípio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Dulce made a kick off. In the 51st minute Archibaldo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Lameiras hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Alípio Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Calderon in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Dulce could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Alípio Magalhães however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Manolo Candamil to fire away a dangerous shot which Alípio Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alípio Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archibaldo Ponce in the 57th minute. Patrício Saldanha scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. were furious when Arnau Campoamor was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.! A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Patrício Saldanha hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Gomesano Santalla got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goalkeeper Alípio Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archibaldo Ponce. In the 75th minute, Merlin Savoie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Magalhães having to interfere. Alípio Magalhães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melquiades Calderon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 81 minute of play. Alípio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archibaldo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Calderon got free with Alípio Magalhães in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alípio Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Calderon in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. got a corner. Delta FS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manolo Candamil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Archibaldo Ponce drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Delta FS's goalkeeper.
