A nice corner shot did that Faustino Uria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heitor Peseiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sitges FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Julião Valverde scored to the left of an out of position Leonel Fernandez, making the score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Larry Herrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heitor Peseiro was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The referee gave Almiro Cabral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Garanhão do SUL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
