In the 6th minute Alexandre Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 8th minute of play forced ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Quinton Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quinton Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ReyPoxo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. ReyPoxo's Quinton Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 28th minute of play. Quinton Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcísio Palha, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes, Rubio Solo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ReyPoxo and the Garanhão do SUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubio Solo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, André Roriz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 39 minutes into the game, Albano Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Quinton Pais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quinton Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the ReyPoxo defense, Alexandre Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinton Pais. The ReyPoxo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinton Pais should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Albano Leizarraga made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Roriz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by André Roriz. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Vale could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Quinton Pais however easily saved by the left post. Quinton Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcísio Palha in the 57th minute of the match. If Julião Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Quinton Pais. That made the score 0-8 after 61 minutes of play. Alexandre Vale struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Quinton Pais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garanhão do SUL. After some careless play in the ReyPoxo defense, André Roriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinton Pais. The ReyPoxo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinton Pais should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goal looked a bit too open when André Roriz came free, but Quinton Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, André Roriz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quinton Pais. But to his dismay, Albano Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Quinton Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garanhão do SUL's Alexandre Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when ReyPoxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Vadillos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. 0-13 became the score in the 94th minute when Albano Leizarraga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Garanhão do SUL played a much better game than ReyPoxo and deserved their victory. The ReyPoxo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
