Pedro Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. Pedro Nóbrega stood somewhat misplaced when Luís Caeiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Luís Caeiros short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Pedro Nóbrega to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Traian Hăvârneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Traian Hăvârneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Nóbrega having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Traian Hăvârneanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DPD FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Traian Hăvârneanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Nóbrega. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. DPD FC's Pedro Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save DPD FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Luís Caeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Traian Hăvârneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Santiago was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Caeiro's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Pedro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes DPD FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Vilaverde. Traian Hăvârneanu took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Nóbrega. Pedro Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 83rdth minute of the game Luís Caeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DPD FC's Pedro Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Traian Hăvârneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
