When Lancelot Astudillo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Llull de Reus's protests and gave Lancelot Astudillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Lancelot Astudillo. Osvaldo Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Antón in the 8th minute. When VB-Team's Jaime Corte-Real in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Llull de Reus's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Raul Antón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Leandro Barcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Llull de Reus the free kick. Leandro Barcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Real Llull de Reus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Antón didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Real Llull de Reus's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Hăvârneanu came free, but León Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Clemencin Castelao put in a rough tackle. Real Llull de Reus:s León Gala showed great skill when he stopped Luís Caeiro:s penalty. A collision led to Real Llull de Reus getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aarón Domingo hit a great ball. Diego Calçada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for León Gala. Real Llull de Reus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Real Llull de Reus's León Gala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Raul Antón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Llull de Reus's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Antón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Monteiro. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Traian Hăvârneanu made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Real Llull de Reus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lancelot Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Real Llull de Reus's León Gala got control of the ball when Luís Caeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Barcelos. After having played for 61 minutes, Sandro Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Antón in the 64th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leandro Barcelos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. 72 minutes into the match, Real Llull de Reus's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Corte-Real came free, but León Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Corte-Real in the 74th minute of play forced Real Llull de Reus's goalkeeper León Gala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. Philibert Lamouroux hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Melquiades Borrás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. León Gala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Corte-Real in the 82nd minute of play. Raul Antón hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Traian Hăvârneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over VB-Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Llull de Reus throughout the match.
