The tension between the AD Pontassolense and the ÓKINJÔ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nélson Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, ÓKINJÔ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Castanheira came free, but Teófilo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Castanheira in the 74th minute of play forced ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Teófilo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Alves during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Min Nao in the 92nd minute of the match. AD Pontassolense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
