Aristides Espírito Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Sagrario Landa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nivaldo Pessoa got free with Sagrario Landa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Los romperredes F.C's Sagrario Landa got control of the ball when Nivaldo Pessoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, SLB TELHA's Flávio Esparteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Landa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 18 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Braga. After 31 played minutes Los romperredes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Polo Duran. Gonçalo Neiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sagrario Landa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonçalo Neiva slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. Sagrario Landa was a little too slow when Aristides Espírito Santo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nivaldo Pessoa to make the kick off. Sagrario Landa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Esparteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Los romperredes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iyan Antunez to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Aristides Espírito Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gonçalo Neiva scored 7-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sagrario Landa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Nivaldo Pessoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sagrario Landa. Los romperredes F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nivaldo Pessoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 75 minutes, Jerico Marcilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los romperredes F.C and the SLB TELHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonçalo Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. When SLB TELHA's Nivaldo Pessoa, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SLB TELHA. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SLB TELHA fully deserved thier win.
