With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Hervé in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Pessoa saved Pinhote FC from getting behind. Gualter Lencastre's late challenge caught a Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Lencastre helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pinhote FC! Pinhote FC:s Higino Pessoa showed great skill when he stopped Michel Hervé:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Unax Ondategui put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Higino Pessoa. After a rather tough play, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Michel Hervé got a free kick in the 12th minute. Higino Pessoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Hervé in the 20th minute of play. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Neto in the 21st minute of play. Severiano Prates was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote FC's zone, Jokin Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Pessoa came out of the goal and Jokin Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa got control of the ball when Jokin Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nuno Alves hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Sergi Velazquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higino Pessoa skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergi Velazquez during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pinhote FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
