Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ion Balboa made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Ion Balboa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Heitor Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlo Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Carlo Sánchez came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Artur Fidalgo. But to his dismay, Artur Fidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 13 minutes of play, HORTALEZA FC's Ion Balboa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heitor Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ion Balboa came free, but Heitor Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Fidalgo in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Artur Fidalgo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. and the HORTALEZA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HORTALEZA FC booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Fidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Heitor Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Balboa in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ion Balboa came free, but Heitor Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Teixeira came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by HORTALEZA FC's Ion Balboa. But to his dismay, Ion Balboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half HORTALEZA FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silvano Morais made the kick off in the second half. Ion Balboa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Heitor Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Balboa's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Eneas Munoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Cesário came free, but Carlo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Fidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to HORTALEZA FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yvon Manzano hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Ion Balboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Fidalgo in the 81st minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Heitor Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentín Buenafuente in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joaquim Brandão hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as HORTALEZA FC's Romeo Torrente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Heitor Teixeira. That made the score 1-6 after 90 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. HORTALEZA FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
