Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Silvano Morais made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when KINGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Seabra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lourenço Quinaz hit a great ball. Manuel Valadão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Tristão having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of KINGS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s goal. After 12 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Tristão was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nuno Mourinho hit a great ball. Hamilton Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Moura in the 20th minute of play. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamilton Poças stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Américo Moura's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Leão. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Seabra in the 34th minute of play. Américo Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamilton Poças having to interfere.

A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Júlio Seabra hit a great ball. If Júlio Seabra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamilton Poças came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by KINGS FC's Américo Moura. But to his dismay, Américo Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With his leg Hamilton Poças managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when KINGS FC's Américo Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Américo Moura let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 70th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in KINGS FC's zone, Silvano Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Tristão came out of the goal and Silvano Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Mourinho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Hamilton Poças was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Júlio Seabra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. If Manuel Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KINGS FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
