Los Colegas del Barrio's Pelayo Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seve Higuera in the 26th minute of play. Nahia Sierra took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldemer Sevilla. Baldemer Sevilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 31st minute, Seve Higuera made a precise shot to the right of Pelayo Vazquez. Los Colegas del Barrio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Tono came free, but Pelayo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colegas del Barrio's zone, Haroldo Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Vazquez came out of the goal and Haroldo Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benvido Santalla struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pelayo Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aysouraguán. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seve Higuera to make the kick off. Eutropio Harroyo's late challenge caught a Aysouraguán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Seve Higuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Colegas del Barrio's Josepe Mangas was substituted for Antonio Canal. 72 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Seve Higuera came free, but Pelayo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Aysouraguán fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Aysouraguán's Seve Higuera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Aysouraguán's Seve Higuera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pelayo Vazquez. That made the score 2-4 after 81 minutes of play. Aysouraguán's Frederick Dorado got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
