Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jamar Paige kicked off to start the match. When Arnoldo Pantoja fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downchester City's protests and gave Arnoldo Pantoja a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Pantoja. Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Pau Nas Canelas from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamar Paige in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gentil Miranda saved Pau Nas Canelas from getting behind. When Downchester City's Jamar Paige in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pau Nas Canelas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Pantoja to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Pau Nas Canelas's Palmiro Picasso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xepe Gandia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoldo Pantoja hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Edinho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Xepe Gandia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda got control of the ball when Ismael Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javi Sanchez in the 25th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nunez Sasoin fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pau Nas Canelas's protests and gave Nunez Sasoin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Pau Nas Canelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Downchester City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Palmiro Picasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Pau Nas Canelas's players had a chance to rest. 35 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Moraes came free, but Xepe Gandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Palmiro Picasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xepe Gandia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javi Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Downchester City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pau Nas Canelas were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Palmiro Picasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Montrel Blazquez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Xepe Gandia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palmiro Picasso in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Javi Sanchez came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséas Moraes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Pau Nas Canelas's Palmiro Picasso got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Pantoja to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Xepe Gandia managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Pau Nas Canelas's Palmiro Picasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Arnoldo Pantoja in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pau Nas Canelas's Lech Biraga. 89 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Palmiro Picasso. In the 92nd minute Jamar Paige shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gentil Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Downchester City got a corner. Pau Nas Canelas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vincente Serrano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vincente Serrano made a great header on Downchester City's corner, it was just that Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda managed to reach the ball for a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pau Nas Canelas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
