Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Graciano Flores kicked off to start the match. Campus Douro Academy were furious when Victor Sousa was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 3 minutes into the game, one of Campus Douro Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Coelho had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Tobias Taveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Alexandre Pessoa got a free kick in the 8th minute. Campus Douro Academy's Américo Ramires suffered a sore thigh after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 9 minutes into the game, Alexandre Pessoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suprs Academia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. Campus Douro Academy's Manuel França was substituted for Américo Ramires. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Suprs Academia! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel França in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Prod'Homme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Cavaco in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Taveira in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Coelho saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. Manuel França struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Miguel Prod'Homme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campus Douro Academy. Manuel França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Prod'Homme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Taveira to maneuver through the defense. Teófilo Trigueiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Miguel Prod'Homme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Leal Neto. Carlos Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Cavaco in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Joaquim Cavaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Cavaco in the 32nd minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Carlos Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Pessoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Sesimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Prod'Homme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telmo Sesimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Miguel Prod'Homme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel França. In the 44th minute Tobias Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel França who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Prod'Homme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlos Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Taveira in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Taveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Taveira in the 52nd minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Carlos Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Prod'Homme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel França, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel França in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Prod'Homme saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Gonsalvo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suprs Academia and the Campus Douro Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonsalvo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Manuel França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Prod'Homme was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Manuel França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel França kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Manuel França hit a great ball. Miguel Prod'Homme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel França in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gonsalvo Ramos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Suprs Academia defense, Manuel França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Prod'Homme. The Suprs Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Prod'Homme should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Cavaco came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Coelho could save by the left post. Miguel Prod'Homme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
