Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Graciano Flores started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Carlos Pujol hit a great ball. Américo Ramires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agapito Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Carlos Pujol scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teófilo Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute of the match, Telmo Sesimbra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Agapito Blanco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vitin Domingo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Graciano Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agapito Blanco having to interfere. Agapito Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graciano Flores in the 22nd minute of the match. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB CUENCA from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute of the match Campus Douro Academy got a corner. FCSB CUENCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Graciano Flores ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FCSB CUENCA's goalie and right to Teófilo Trigueiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FCSB CUENCA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graciano Flores in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agapito Blanco saved FCSB CUENCA from getting behind. Campus Douro Academy's Carlos Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pujol in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcio Carreira in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Coelho saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. Carlos Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Pujol, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mei Qing Yang hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Victor Sousa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Carlos Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcio Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Campus Douro Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCSB CUENCA were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcio Carreira to make the kick off. With his leg Carlos Coelho managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when FCSB CUENCA's Carlos Pujol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Sesimbra came free, but Agapito Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Sesimbra came free, but Agapito Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Popescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graciano Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agapito Blanco having to interfere. Carlos Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcio Carreira in the 81st minute of play. Agapito Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Sesimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teófilo Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Campus Douro Academy's Graciano Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, André Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Campus Douro Academy manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FCSB CUENCA to win.
