Eufemio Vuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Oliverios Coya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikel Oyarzabal charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikel Oyarzabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the LVCVS AVGVSTI defense, Walme Vives kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Climent. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Climent should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Buenafuente in the 15th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Oliverios Coya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverios Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Buenafuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After taking down the ball on LVCVS AVGVSTI's corner Mariano Buenafuente fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oliverios Coya quite easily take care of the ball. García Gonzalvez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Oliverios Coya made a huge save. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Palanques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Mariano Buenafuente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliverios Coya. UE Cornella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Buenafuente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jorge Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Bacete in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to UE Cornella getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ismael Villalcazar hit a great ball. Aitor Grau scored 3-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliverios Coya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walme Vives fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Climent having to interfere. Oliverios Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Buenafuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Mikel Oyarzabal came free, but Oliverios Coya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Buenafuente to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Mel Palanques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramone Nadal's late challenge caught a UE Cornella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramone Nadal helped the player get up and apologised. Ramone Nadal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Mariano Buenafuente got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Mariano Buenafuente made a precise shot to the right of Oliverios Coya. UE Cornella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Oliverios Coya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Buenafuente's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. A collision led to LVCVS AVGVSTI getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. García Gonzalvez hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. LVCVS AVGVSTI were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UE Cornella for a fine match.
