Áron Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Máté Fehér got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Duško Turnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lóránd Borbás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Pančur having to interfere. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Antoni Zdrojewski got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Constantino Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervin Bertha in the 23rd minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when PMFC 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Gervaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duško Turnšek got free with Zoltán Szepes in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zlatko Goričan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35thth minute of the game Duško Turnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Duško Turnšek didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 35th minute. HIT Gorica's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! László Tar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zoltán Szepes. PMFC 2018's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save PMFC 2018 from getting a goal against them. Benedek Tóth hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Aro Cannavaro got a free kick in the 47th minute. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Tar in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Gervaso was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Duško Turnšek managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Duško Turnšek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoltán Szepes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rdth minute of the game Duško Turnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lóránd Borbás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Konstantin Pančur came out and tried to block the shot, but Lóránd Borbás slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 66th minute. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Istok Šabotić replaced Duško Turnšek. Vencel Káposztás hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Rastislav Tomič replaced Constantino Eguntsenti. When the referee ended the match the HIT Gorica players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
