When Berend Rolink fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dwingeloo's protests and gave Berend Rolink a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Berend Rolink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacq Verheijt in the 22nd minute of play forced Dwingeloo's goalkeeper Julius Lubbers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Van Bouschot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cobus Barends stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cobus Barends's late challenge caught a Aslan Spor32's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cobus Barends helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute of the match Yanick Schols sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julius Lubbers skillfully saved the ball. Sebastian Van Bouschot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cobus Barends's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Danny Poets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute of the match Barry Stühling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Van Bouschot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Cobus Barends came free, but Sebastian Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dwingeloo's zone, Quillian Ingelbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Lubbers came out of the goal and Quillian Ingelbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Lubbers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Poets in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Dwingeloo's goalkeeper Julius Lubbers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacq Verheijt. Thanks to some nice moves Jacq Verheijt could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Julius Lubbers however easily saved by the left post. Sebastian Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsten Hooiveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With 92 minutes on the clock, Yanick Schols commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 95 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Cobus Barends came free, but Sebastian Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aslan Spor32's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
