The crowd rose to their feet as Oleg Gyuzelev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jozef Hemeleers. That made the score 0-1 in the 86 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Koenens in the 90th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Tinko Gerovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Gertjan Koenens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tinko Gerovski. ЦСКА's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gertjan Koenens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
