The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Jozef Koštialik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Vansteenbrugge. Jozef Koštialik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Miroslav Vašáry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Vansteenbrugge, 2-0. Charles-Antoine Vercammen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Jacque De Brouwer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Žemľa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jozef Koštialik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Vansteenbrugge. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Alex Sarangapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Senne Luijten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Vansteenbrugge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Koštialik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sporting Westmeerbeek getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Norbert Verhulst hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Senne Luijten to maneuver through the defense. When Danny den Ronden fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Westmeerbeek's protests and gave Danny den Ronden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Vestberg to maneuver through the defense. Jacque De Brouwer shot a hard long shot which touched the left pole and just rolled over the goal line behind Vladimír Žemľa. 59 minutes into the game was 4-1. After 63 minutes of play, ŠK Horelica's Jozef Višňa made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Vansteenbrugge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Senne Luijten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Vansteenbrugge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Koštialik, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 95th minute, Jozef Višňa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ŠK Horelica fully deserved thier win.
