De Kwakel FC:s Freek Veldkamp showed great skill when he stopped Jozef Ondruš:s penalty. Thanks to some nice moves Jozef Višňa could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Freek Veldkamp however easily saved by the left post. Vladimír Žemľa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin van Asseldonk in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Martin van Asseldonk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kwakel FC and the ŠK Horelica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to De Kwakel FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Martin van Asseldonk hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, De Kwakel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menno van der Doelen to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Dolf de Haan in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ŠK Horelica's Marek Goliáš. Martin van Asseldonk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. De Kwakel FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Jozef Višňa scored to the left of an out of position Freek Veldkamp, making the score, 1-0. In the 24th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Futej to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Jozef Koštialik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jozef Višňa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freek Veldkamp. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ŠK Horelica's Paul Vestberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jozef Koštialik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joop Bont in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimír Žemľa saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasio Gruchacz in the 44th minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Martin van Asseldonk came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jozef Koštialik to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jozef Koštialik fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ŠK Horelica's protests and gave Jozef Koštialik a yellow card for diving instead. Jozef Koštialik kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dick Riemers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimír Žemľa having to interfere. Freek Veldkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Višňa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, De Kwakel FC's Menno van der Doelen got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jozef Koštialik took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freek Veldkamp. Freek Veldkamp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. ŠK Horelica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Martin van Asseldonk scored to the left of an out of position Vladimír Žemľa, making the score, 3-1. 81 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin van Asseldonk. Stasio Gruchacz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paul Vestberg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Vestberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Vestberg to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Jeroen Maasland came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freek Veldkamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Višňa in the 86th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ŠK Horelica fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Kwakel FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
