Joeri Wagemakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Kostermans in the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Boeikop booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Theisens didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ralf Ekelhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boeikop's Joeri Wagemakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Kostermans in the 11th minute of play. Joeri Wagemakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Pilage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boeikop getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olof Talsma hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Gert Hulzebos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boeikop's Joeri Wagemakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Theisens in the 33rd minute of play. Ferry Schattenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Ekelhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Joeri Wagemakers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Hulzebos went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Hulzebos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gert Hulzebos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gert Hulzebos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Hubert van den Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Boeikop's Joeri Wagemakers got control of the ball when Rolf Pilage tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Boeikop defense, Gert Hulzebos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joeri Wagemakers. The Boeikop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joeri Wagemakers should have stopped the shot. Coos Rensenbrink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But to his dismay, Gert Hulzebos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, Boeikop's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Hulzebos came free, but Joeri Wagemakers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelmond S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
