Harold Engelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lajos Kárpáti scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waut Goons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. György Pataky hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Pálfi. In the 17th match minute, Sporting Mambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etienne Ottevaere to maneuver through the defense. Vérsárkány SE were furious when Nimród Vadász was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nimród Vadász hit a great ball. József Bozsik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Vincke in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Yoachim Fondria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Bozsik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Benedek Soós got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benedek Soós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vérsárkány SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedek Soós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Goons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yoachim Fondria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sporting Mambo booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Kárpáti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 50 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Benedek Soós. 51 minutes into the game, Yoachim Fondria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Mambo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vérsárkány SE the free kick. Yoachim Fondria hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bátor Tigris hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. József Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Engelborgh, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Benedek Soós came free, but Waut Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lajos Kárpáti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lajos Kárpáti during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Kárpáti to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoachim Fondria got free with József Bozsik in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Waut Goons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. József Bozsik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoachim Fondria went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedek Soós in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waut Goons saved Sporting Mambo from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Benedek Soós came free, but Waut Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. József Bozsik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffel Weets in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik got control of the ball when Harold Engelborgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waut Goons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Bács in the 93rd minute of the match. Sporting Mambo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
