Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) THE CLUB's Slavcho Mandzhukov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Ludwig Van Gestelt got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 13 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Benne Marichal came free, but Ceferino Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geetsvondel²'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wesley Vrankx in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Geetsvondel²'s corner Wesley Vrankx fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ceferino Neto quite easily take care of the ball. Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavcho Mandzhukov in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Joost Van de Plas in the 18th minute of play forced THE CLUB's goalkeeper Ceferino Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Steenbecks to maneuver through the defense. When Peyo Hantov came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the THE CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyo Hantov couldn't finish the play. Herald Wouqier came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by THE CLUB's Slavcho Mandzhukov. But to his dismay, Slavcho Mandzhukov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benne Marichal in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Neto saved THE CLUB from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilko Madzhov. Ognyan Istatkov hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Jan-Joost Van de Plas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nano Ginev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Herald Wouqier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herald Wouqier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slavcho Mandzhukov went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benne Marichal made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Slavcho Mandzhukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Bendyk hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, THE CLUB's Ceferino Neto got control of the ball when Wesley Vrankx tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Benne Marichal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geetsvondel² fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ludwig Van Gestelt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ventzislav Gerginov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herald Wouqier having to interfere. When Jan Goossens fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geetsvondel²'s protests and gave Jan Goossens a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Geetsvondel²! 76 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goalkeeper Ceferino Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benne Marichal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nano Ginev in the 79th minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Slavcho Mandzhukov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE CLUB and the Geetsvondel² players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes THE CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Slavcho Mandzhukov. Geetsvondel²'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
