Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kálmán Fitos made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Wegman during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Smalbroek's Klaas Wegman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Smalbroek's Jaap Jochemsen got control of the ball when Kálmán Fitos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Folker Cales was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Smalbroek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Gyál United's Géza Sipos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jaap Jochemsen. Jaap Jochemsen was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ottó Gyarmati capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ottó Gyarmati really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kálmán Fitos got free with Jaap Jochemsen in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Klaas Wegman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ottó Gyarmati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Klaas Wegman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sándor Jászberényi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ottó Gyarmati scored 5-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaap Jochemsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaap Jochemsen was a little too slow when Róbert Vajda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klaas Wegman to make the kick off. If Daniel Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottó Gyarmati in the 54th minute of play forced Smalbroek's goalkeeper Jaap Jochemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Gyál United's Róbert Vajda made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaap Jochemsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottó Gyarmati in the 59th minute of play forced Smalbroek's goalkeeper Jaap Jochemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Daniel Kremer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smalbroek and the Gyál United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gyál United booed when Smalbroek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Kremer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaap Jochemsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Gyarmati in the 66th minute of play. Jaap Jochemsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kálmán Fitos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbert Vajda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap Jochemsen having to interfere. Smalbroek's Frits Vedder got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Klaas Wegman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sándor Jászberényi, 7-2. In the 81st minute, Róbert Vajda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyál United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Fitos in the 84th minute of play forced Smalbroek's goalkeeper Jaap Jochemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Smalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Vajda came free, but Jaap Jochemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap Jochemsen came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Róbert Vajda. But to his dismay, Róbert Vajda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-2. When the referee ended the match the Gyál United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
