The supporters of FC Kopeto booed when Sas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Rooy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Sas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogier van Bronckhorst to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, FC Kopeto's Ivo Vošický nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rinus van Rooijen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcus Zeegelaar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Ivo Vošický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rinus van Rooijen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdeněk Skalník, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Zdeněk Skalník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivo Vošický came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Kopeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Vošický couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Zdeněk Skalník left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kopeto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Benjamin Řeha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Stuifzand, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Ivo Vošický had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. Sas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Vošický was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Sas's Rinus van Rooijen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Vošický in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sas defense, Zdeněk Skalník kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. The Sas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rinus van Rooijen should have stopped the shot. Rinus van Rooijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Vošický, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, FC Kopeto's Ivo Vošický made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rinus van Rooijen was left in no man's land by his defense there!

After a rather tough play, Sas's Laurens Dekkers got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zdeněk Skalník struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rinus van Rooijen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopeto. When Ivo Vošický in the 53rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rinus van Rooijen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Zdeněk Skalník received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rinus van Rooijen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Zdeněk Skalník had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. Rinus van Rooijen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Sas's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Vošický came free, but Rinus van Rooijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sas's Rinus van Rooijen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sas from getting a goal against them. Sas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Zdeněk Zemánek scored to the left of an out of position Rinus van Rooijen, making the score, 0-11.
