Martin Timko hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC DNV Bratiskava from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič got control of the ball when Martien Degenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geert Arend van Zijl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Zednikovič having to interfere. The supporters of FC DNV Bratiskava booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Blaauwgeers didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohuš Dačev in the 26th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Carsten Maurits to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 44th minute, Eurico Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Geert Arend van Zijl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geert Arend van Zijl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martien Degenkamp had several of the FC DNV Bratiskava's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tomáš Zednikovič as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bohuš Dačev made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ted Mook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martien Degenkamp scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomáš Zednikovič, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC DNV Bratiskava's zone, Gerard Mulder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Zednikovič came out of the goal and Gerard Mulder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bohuš Dačev hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Balog. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Martien Degenkamp sped through FC DNV Bratiskava's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomáš Zednikovič. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend van Zijl in the 78th minute of play. Tomáš Zednikovič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martien Degenkamp's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Bohuš Dačev hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Degenkamp in the 89th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Bal op het Dak were the better team. FC Bal op het Dak's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
