Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Van Mechelen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Maxime Van Bombergen shot from long distance after 10 played minutes, a shot that Rinus van Rooijen with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sas's Marcus Zeegelaar got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Sas's goal looked a bit too open when Andries Mangelschot came free, but Rinus van Rooijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Andries Mangelschot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. Sas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andries Mangelschot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rinus van Rooijen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Van Mechelen's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Miguel Van Mechelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rinus van Rooijen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Andries Mangelschot managed to get in a good position for a shot. YR Mechelen's supporters rose to their feet, but Andries Mangelschot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rinus van Rooijen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Van Mechelen took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rinus van Rooijen. Rinus van Rooijen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Sas booed when YR Mechelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Van Bombergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rinus van Rooijen came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Miguel Van Mechelen. But to his dismay, Miguel Van Mechelen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rinus van Rooijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. YR Mechelen were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Hans Stuifzand made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Miguel Van Mechelen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rinus van Rooijen. The goal made the score 0-4. Miguel Van Mechelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rinus van Rooijen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Miguel Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andries Mangelschot in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rinus van Rooijen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tobias Smidts's late challenge caught a Sas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Smidts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Smidts to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Van Mechelen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Rinus van Rooijen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yanick Verschelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Rooy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rinus van Rooijen was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Miguel Van Mechelen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Van Mechelen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Reinier Kaptein made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by YR Mechelen's Tobias Smidts. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Andries Mangelschot put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Miguel Van Mechelen sped through Sas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rinus van Rooijen.
