Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jordão Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pura Vida Academy's goalkeeper Silverio Mendez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes got control of the ball when Tico Lizano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Levent User hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Tico Lizano made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tico Lizano sent off a good shot on target. When Carsten Klaasens came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Seagulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carsten Klaasens couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Barbosa came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Joost Smeekes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pura Vida Academy's Tico Lizano. But to his dismay, Tico Lizano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jordão Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Joost Smeekes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordão Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Tico Lizano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes, 3-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Tico Lizano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tico Lizano really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Wilco Owusu Abeyie kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tico Lizano in the 41st minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordão Barbosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Jan-Joost Smeekes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Seagulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Tico Lizano scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Joost Smeekes, making the score, 5-0.
Jordão Barbosa took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 64 minutes into the match, Tico Lizano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tico Lizano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordão Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Pura Vida Academy's Levent User sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Joost Smeekes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pura Vida Academy's Antoni Wieser was substituted for Tico Lizano. Pura Vida Academy were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Seagulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry Nykvist took the corner. The corner led to Pura Vida Academy's Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Jordão Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jordão Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Wieser in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Antoni Wieser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Joost Smeekes should have stopped the shot. Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Antoni Wieser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Wieser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordão Barbosa in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Pura Vida Academy were awarded a corner. Harry Nykvist went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Harry Nykvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes did a great save. There was no doubt that Pura Vida Academy were the better team. Pura Vida Academy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
