Hanuš Holan made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ivo Vošický immediately put the ball in play. Yanick Verschelde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Vošický in the 3rd minute of the match. Miguel Van Mechelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nikita Kráčmar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdeněk Skalník during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikita Kráčmar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Van Mechelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Nikita Kráčmar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Van Mechelen's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Vošický came free, but Yanick Verschelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Vošický made a kick off. If Miguel Van Mechelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikita Kráčmar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries Mangelschot, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Yanick Verschelde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Vošický in the 66th minute of play. Yanick Verschelde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 87 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Van Mechelen came free, but Nikita Kráčmar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Kopeto's Nikita Kráčmar got control of the ball when Andries Mangelschot tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Kopeto getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Václav Plášil hit a great ball. Nikita Kráčmar was a little too slow when Miguel Van Mechelen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 97th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeněk Zemánek to maneuver through the defense. Although FC Kopeto had been in control for most of the match, YR Mechelen still came away with the win.
