Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilco Owusu Abeyie took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Degenkamp came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Harmens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Julius van Zijl made a huge save. Julius van Zijl didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Degenkamp came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Joost Smeekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Degenkamp in the 17th minute of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Degenkamp in the 18th minute of the match. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Blaauwgeers in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes, Wilco Owusu Abeyie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the FC Bal op het Dak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilco Owusu Abeyie kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl got control of the ball when Jan Harmens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Martien Degenkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 36th minute, Rafael de Groot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Joost Smeekes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 44thth minute of the game Martien Degenkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martien Degenkamp to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Rafael de Groot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Rafael de Groot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Batum in the 58th minute of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Arend van Zijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Seagulls booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael de Groot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. Martien Degenkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jan-Joost Smeekes made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. That made the score 1-6 after 74 minutes of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Martien Degenkamp sent off a good shot on target. Martien Degenkamp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan-Joost Smeekes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martien Degenkamps short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Jan-Joost Smeekes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The FC Bal op het Dak fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martien Degenkamp. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Geert Arend van Zijl took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Jan-Joost Smeekes to make any attempt to save it. Jan-Joost Smeekes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Degenkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Geert Arend van Zijl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Bal op het Dak supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bal op het Dak would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
