La masia's Dominic Weygaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of La masia booed when Mjöllnir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timotheus Sennrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Weygaerts in the 32nd minute of play forced Mjöllnir's goalkeeper Marc Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Dominic Weygaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half La masia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Mjöllnir's zone, Philippe Suetens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Brand came out of the goal and Philippe Suetens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Artur Huybreghts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Artur Huybreghts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Brand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Mjöllnir made a substitution. Faustus Bayer replaced Gregor Roos. 67 minutes into the match, La masia's Jimmy De Beer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Brand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Faustus Bayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 minutes of play Mjöllnir's Faustus Bayer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th match minute, Mjöllnir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustus Bayer to maneuver through the defense. La masia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
