Gert Brandsma took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gertjan Imberechts. Gertjan Imberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Villyn to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Gert Brandsma notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts. Gertjan Imberechts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Evert Roelofs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gertjan Imberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 13th minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Rocky Villyn seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rocky Villyn the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vriendenkring Wippelgem protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rocky Villyn had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 12 minutes into the game, one of Vriendenkring Wippelgem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vriendenkring Wippelgem:s Gertjan Imberechts showed great skill when he stopped Maarten Grol:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Brandsma in the 16th minute of play forced Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalkeeper Gertjan Imberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Evert Roelofs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Roelofs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 20th minute, Gert Brandsma made a precise shot to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 23rdth minute of the game Mustafa Barış Tekindağ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Arthur Løset cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gertjan Imberechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guido Solis scored 0-7 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gertjan Imberechts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Arthur Løset made a precise shot to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Gertjan Imberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Tekindağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Osdorp FC's Evert Roelofs fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Gert Brandsma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gertjan Imberechts was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Gert Brandsma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osdorp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Roelofs to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gert Brandsma reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gertjan Imberechts. The goal made the score 0-10. Andre Uijterhoven charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Uijterhoven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, one of Vriendenkring Wippelgem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vriendenkring Wippelgem. Maarten Grol shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 61 minutes into the match, Guido Solis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Solis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Gertjan Imberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Brandsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Guido Solis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Solis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Gertjan Imberechts made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Guido Solis sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Roelofs came free, but Gertjan Imberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gert Brandsma reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gertjan Imberechts. The goal made the score 0-13. Gert Brandsma scored 0-14 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gertjan Imberechts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gertjan Imberechts was a little too slow when Guido Solis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-15. In the 83rd minute, Guido Solis made a precise shot to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. Guido Solis scored 0-17 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gertjan Imberechts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Evert Roelofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gertjan Imberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Osdorp FC's Arthur Løset slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gertjan Imberechts. That made the score 0-18 after 90 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Vriendenkring Wippelgem defense, Gert Brandsma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gertjan Imberechts should have stopped the shot. Gertjan Imberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Løset in the 98th minute of play. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Osdorp FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
